The Craft District’s website has a whole new look, and we’re excited to share it with you! Our new site features our artisan vendors, spills all the details about our upcoming events, and keeps you up-to-date on all the new projects we have going on. We’ve always got something exciting rolling out because we are a group of serious innovators that represent the best of the Puget Sound’s maker community.

New Look, Same Great Space

The Craft District was born out of a vision and passion for a handcrafted experience with deep roots in Tumwater’s brewing history. Our new website will connect you with a community where friends and families gather to interact with craft producers, educators, retailers, and service providers collaborating to provide the best products, services, and knowledge the region has to offer. You’ll also find updates on events we are hosting and hear about all the fun new projects we have in the works.

Interested in joining as a vendor? You’ll be able to find that out too.

A Unique Experience

If you’re looking for something unique, something with character, or just something new, then what your looking for is probably The Craft District. This one-of-a-kind space in Tumwater was created out of the community’s demand for a handcrafted destination. With local makers at the forefront, our master plan has evolved into a collaboration amongst local businesses to create a different experience that blends education with industry.

The Craft District is built around South Puget Sound Community College’s Craft Brewing and Distilling Program. The collaboration between SPSCC, Heritage Distilling Company, and Ninkasi Brewing has allowed for a unique collaboration among partners. Heritage Distilling Company’s new production, tasting room, cask club, and event space facilities will be housed under the same roof as SPSCC’s new educational facility.

We built the Craft District to house vendors needing a space to share their craft with the Puget Sound community and host events. We like to party, and we bet you do, too. If you’re looking for upcoming events or renting event space, we have you covered. We have a beautiful outdoor amphitheater under construction as well as multiple indoor venues
